I paint. More specifically, I paint commissioned work, though I also add to my personal portfolio (sometimes released to the enlightened/discerning public). I’m a chameleon. I specialize in many/all (I like to think) genre’s including: abstract, expressionism, abstract-expressionism, impressionism, surrealism, realism, minimalism. etc…
I strive to achieve a holistic approach between art and the viewer by matching a persons environment to an aesthetically driven mood. I do this by noting a persons psychological/physical reactions to the 5 senses. Through understanding these reactions to favorite smells, tastes, sounds and textures I create a visual that encompasses both the physical and psychological euphoric triggers. In my opinion a work of art should be an all encompassing, multi-sensory experience, not a decorative ornament.
I have done (this is where it gets wordy), exclusive nursery art, mood procuring portraits, orginal landscapes, character induced foliage, unadorned nature, masquerading mammals, anthropods, arthropods, cilia, flagellum, dairy queens, prom queens, upside down cakes, linus, idaho, camp, layers, pepper, corners, foam, tappas, chuckles… pretty much anything you can tag.
